singapore rabbits is a community digest and curator for SG rabbit owners, run by Xavier Fok. it is not a vet practice and does not give diagnostic advice. the site exists because Singapore’s rabbit-owner community is small but underserved online — the FB groups have the answers, but the answers aren’t searchable, dated, or organised.
what we do
- care guides for the SG climate (humidity, AC, HDB rules)
- owner faq summaries of recurring questions in SG-owner spaces
- a directory of SG vets, groomers, boarding, shops, and rescues that handle rabbits
what we don’t do
- diagnose your rabbit. ever. every health-related post links to a real SG vet.
- republish member posts from FB groups verbatim. we summarise themes only.
- pay-to-play listings. there is a featured tier on the directory that is clearly marked as a paid placement. base listings are free and will stay free.
who writes
Xavier edits. named contributors are SG rabbit owners who give us a quote, photo, or column in exchange for credit and a link back. we are recruiting actively — see contact.
funding
the site is free to read. we make money through (in order of importance):
- affiliate links to SG retailers (Shopee, Lazada, iHerb) for hay, pellets, supplies
- featured listings on the directory ($30/mo per business, capped at 5 per category)
- an owner handbook PDF (planned for year 2)
